Rebekah's Cream of Tomato Soup1 quart jar of crushed or diced tomatoes, or one 28oz can diced tomatoes (with juice)
1/4 cup butter
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 cup chicken broth with 1 tsp. or cube of chicken base or bouillon added
1/8 tsp baking soda
1-1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
--Combine all but cream in pan on stove. Bring to boil and simmer 15+ min. Add heavy whipping cream and heat through.
